Why Are So Many Startups Exploring Metamask Wallet Clone Script Solutions?

Lately, I’ve noticed a growing interest in Metamask Wallet Clone Script solutions, especially among Web3 startups building their own non-custodial wallets. A Metamask wallet clone seems like a fast way to launch, but I wonder how much customization and security depth really matters in production.

With features like private key control, multi-chain support, and dApp integration becoming standard, it feels like user expectations are much higher now. Simply cloning functionality may not be enough UX, scalability, and smart contract interaction also play a big role.

Has anyone here worked on or used a Metamask wallet clone in a real project? How do they compare to building a wallet from scratch in terms of flexibility and long-term maintenance?

Would love to hear your thoughts or lessons learned in wallet development.
