What is Cutaneous T-Cell Lymphoma (CTCL) and why are exosomes relevant to its treatment?
12 days ago by sg
CTCL is a rare type of non-Hodgkin lymphoma caused by the malignant proliferation of T lymphocytes in the skin. Malignant T cells utilize exosomes—small extracellular vesicles—to communicate with the tumor microenvironment (TME), promoting immune evasion and disease progression. Conversely, engineered exosomes can be used as a targeted delivery platform to reverse these effects and kill tumor cells.
