Need Help Understanding Marla to Gaj Conversion
Hi everyone,
I’m looking for some clarity on Marla to Gaj land measurement conversion. Different states seem to use different values, and it's getting confusing while comparing property sizes.
From what I’ve seen, some places count 1 Marla as 30.25 Gaj, while others use 25 Gaj or even 36 Gaj depending on the region. Because of these variations, calculating land area accurately becomes difficult.
If anyone has experience dealing with Marla-to-Gaj conversions, especially for property transactions, please share:
Which conversion value is most commonly used today?
Do builders and local authorities follow a standard measurement?
Any reliable Marla to Gaj calculator you recommend?
Tips to avoid mistakes when comparing plots across regions?
Your guidance will help me and others make more accurate property decisions.
Thanks in advance!
